Many people take care of cats that wander outdoors, but usually they come home at night or for dinner. Not Pablo. The nine-year old silver tabby wandered from its home and one year later, walked into a bank and started snoozing on a chair.

Bank officials took the cat to the Cat Protection League, who discovered that Pablo had a microchip. Using the information in the microchip, they were able to contact Pablo’s owner a year after his disappearance.

Before dcisappearing, Pablo was well known aroiund his hometown of Brockley, where dogs crossed the street to avoid him and motorists would drive around him while Pablo sat in the middle of the road. If you have an outdoor cat, consider getting your cat microchipped to help reunite your pet with you in case your cat decides to take a trip far from home like Pablo did.
