The 2-year-old cat, named Wasabi, suffered a fractured leg and broken bones after chasing a mosquito out an open window that happened to be eleven stories up. Although the mosquito escaped, the cat survived. If you live in an apartment high off the ground, be sure to keep your windows closed so your furry friend doesn’t try to get ideas to leap out the window to grab something flying by.
