A 30-year old electrician was driving down the road when another motorist flashed her a warning. When Helen Stevens, pulled over to check what was wrong, she discovered an 18-month-old cat clinging to the roof of her truck.
Helen said: ‘The cat was on the roof rack, which had some stepladders on it, and was just clinging on for dear life. He was wide-eyed and looking terrified.
The cat managed to cling to the roof as the truck sped along at 70 mph. Helen took the cat to a vet, who put out an appeal for the cat’s owner, who eventually found their cat, named Kick Buttowski, after seeing the cat’s picture on the Internet. The cat and its owner have been reunited.
