Three days before Christmas, Meow-Meow escaped from his home in Halifax and disappeared while wearing a Snoopy sweater. Meow-Meow’s owner put out toys and kitty litter, hoping the smell might lure the cat back home. Then on Christmas morning, owner Chantelle Rideout heard him meowing on the porch and rushed to bring him inside.
“It was so great having Christmas with him back. It wouldn’t have been the same without him. We were going to hold off celebrating Christmas until he came back so it was really amazing that it worked out the way it did,” she said.
Meow-Meow did come home without his Snoopy sweater, which may have gotten caught on something, but now Meow-Meow is safely back home again to help make Christmas happy once more.
