Jill Roberson had an 18-month old cat named Mayhem, but when she decided to move to a busy street in North Carolina, she decided to give Mayhem to a neighboring couple. Three weeks later, Roberson heard meowing and discovered Mayhem outside of her door. Somehow the cat had managed to travel six miles to find her, even though the cat had never been to Roberson’s new home.
Roberson has decided to keep the cat, which stays inside. How a cat managed to travel six miles across territory to find a house it had never seen before is a mystery. In any event, Mayhem is happy at home once more.
