Everyone knows that cats love to boss and order their human servants around. The problem is that since cats can’t talk, they have to communicate their needs through body language. While it’s often easy to understand certain types of cat body language (a paw swatting you in the face while you’re asleep), it’s much harder to understand some of their more deceptive cues.
For example, when a cat rolls on its back to expose its tummy, that means the cat feels safe and secure. Of course the moment you try to pet its exposed tummy, it may lash out and rip your arm to shreds, but that’s just the price you pay when you misinterpret your cat’s commands.
