Besides the endless debate on whether cats are better than dogs, the other debate that will never be resolved is whether you should let cats roam free or keep them indoors. Indoor cats tend to live longer but may lack mental stimulation. Outdoor cats live a more natural life but at the cost of exposure to cars, dogs, and malicious people.
In general, it’s probably a good idea to keep your cat indoors and provide it with plenty of toys and other forms of stimulation to keep it amused. Try getting it an Xbox or a PlayStation, and leave plenty of caviar and lobster tails around for it to dine on while you’re away during the day. Chances are good any cat will be happier when given the proper amount of treats and stimulation when kept indoors.
