Tucker suffers from a rare genetic defect that makes her skin easily bruised to the point where she needs to wear a protective T-shirt to cover her skin and prevent excessive hair loss. Yet the most prominent feature of her genetic defect is her face that makes her look like the saddest cat in the world.

Tucker’s previous owner was unable to care for her any more so she wound up in a Washington D.C. animal shelter. The shelter officials said, “Tucker enjoys sitting on laps and playing with string toys! She also loves to be pet under the chin and behind the ears and is great with children.”
