In Las Vegas, a 71-year old homeowner kept up to 200 cats. naturally, so many cats caused damage to neighboring homes as they roamed around. Cindy Miller, who bought the home next door, said, “It has been torture. I found out about a month after I moved in, there was a woman next door hoarding cats. This was supposed to be my retirement home.”
“They are remediating her house, but my house has suffered as well. My property stinks,” neighbor Cynthia Snodgrass said.
Even the woman hoarding the cats slept outside of her own home because the smell inside was so bad. The next time you’re thinking about taking care of cats, at least make sure you can take care of them in a safe and sanitary manner.
