A cat lingered on the subway tracks near the Nostrand Avenue A/C station in Brooklyn and delayed the commute for people on October 2. Straphanger Phil Bouska says that his C train was stuck at the station for “about 20 minutes because, as the conductor repeatedly announced, an A train in front of us is moving very slowly behind a cat on the tracks.'”

When a cat is powerful enough to stop a subway train, that’s when you know the strength of your average neighborhood kitty. Now just remember that strength the next time you bring a cat home and neglect to do its bidding 24 hours a day.
