Many people find the nightly news stressful so in Japan, one news network found a unique way to keep viewers happy. While they give their nightly newscast, Maago the cat wanders around the set, lounging on desks or just strolling between the legs of the newscasters or the cameraman.
The next time you watch Japan’s “Shuukan News Shinsho” (which loosely translates to Weekly News Digest), look for Maago the cat to mellow you out. Even if you don’t believe everything you hear on the news, you can at least believe in a cat.
