It might be fine if you want to get a tattoo but just because you think tattoos look cool doesn’t meant that your pet may share your same idea. In New York, Governor Andrew Cuomo signed a bill prohibiting animal tattoos and piercings.

“This is animal abuse, pure and simple,” Cuomo said. “I’m proud to sign this common-sense legislation and outlaw these cruel and unacceptable practices once and for all in New York.”

If it’s illegal to tattoo a cat or dog in New York, when will it become illegal to do the same thing in other parts of the world? Remember, pets can always express their desires so it’s not a good idea to project your ideas on to your pet. After all, you wouldn’t want your pet to do the same thing to you, because how many people want to greet people by sniffing their butts?
