Firefighters are trained not only to save people, but also pets. In this case, a two-alarm blaze started about 8:15 a.m. in a three-story building in Brooklyn and quickly spread to two adjoining homes. Firefighters put out the blaze but also managed to rescue a cat from the burning building.
