Japan helped lead the way with cat cafes where people could enjoy a beverage and a snack among the company of cats roaming around the place. Now that the rest of the world has caught up with the Japanese by opening their own cat cafes, the Japanese have jumped ahead by opening the world’s first cat club.

Like a real club, this club called Neko (Japanese for “cat”) provides a dance floor with DJs playing music. However when club patrons want to chill out, they can visit a sound-proof room filled with cats and cat furniture so they can unwound from the hectic pace of the dance floor.
