In Toronto, a cat wandered into traffic on a busy road called Queen Elizabeth Way where it got stuck on the median while cars sped past. To protect the cat, police shut down lanes in both directions and called in animal services who tried to capture the cat with a net.

Naturally the cat wandered off and escaped, allowing police to reopen traffic on the roadway once more. It’s nice to know that police will stop traffic to protect a cat although it’s likely the cat was simply taunting the humans to show its superiority before strolling back home to tell its fellow felines its latest prank on the human race.
