In Alaska, a black bear peeked into the back door of a house in Eagle River, Alaska, but ran into a 2-year-old Savannah cat named Nani. Nani crouched down as if stalking the much larger animal and the two beasts stared each other down for a moment before the cat lunged at the window. The startled bear jumped back and fell off the porch.

“We were all really surprised that she lunged at him, but we were more surprised that it scared him enough to fall off the porch,” Darlis Elliott, the homeowner said. Surprisingly, the embarrassed black bear hasn’t ventured back towards the house ever since.
