Cats can be unusually frightened of the oddest things, such as a shadow or a sound. However if you watch the video above, you can see a cat freaked out when it sees a cucumber behind it.
Whether the cat thought the cucumber had been slowly creeping on it from behind for hours or whether the cat mistook the cucumber for a green snake is something we’ll never know. However we can see that the cucumber freaked out this cat so badly that it had to leap in the air to avoid it.
Perhaps a tomato or a side of parsley would freak out this cat just as well. If your cat is easily frightened by vegetables, show it a salad and see what happens next.
