You always hear about cats climbing a tree and then getting stuck up there. That’s when the fire department often comes out with a ladder and brings the terrified kitty back down to Earth.
Now imagine you’re out in Tanzania and spot these lions up in a tree. Would you try to rescue them?
Actually these lions were apparently trying to get away from some flies in the long grass below. Chances are good those lions didn’t get stuck in the tree and require the help of a fire engine ladder to get them down. If lions can get themselves up and down a tree, how come common household cats can’t do that as well?
