In Boston, someone noticed a male cat perched precariously on a metal pipe jutting out of a wall. They speculate the cat might have jumped down there when the tide was low and got stranded when the water rose.
Firefighters used a crane to rescue the cat that they nicknamed Fireman Sam. They report that the cat is in good condition and even has a color with a fish shaped symbol hanging from it. If you happen to know of anyone who is missing a cat, have them contact the authorities immediately so they can reunite Fireman Sam with his rightful owners. Otherwise Fireman Sam will go to a shelter and be put up for adoption.
