While walking her dog one day, a woman spotted a box. The dog sniffed the box and the woman got curious so she opened it up to find an abandoned kitten inside. More heart breaking was that a child had written a note that read “My Mommy’s boyfriend is mean to me. Desperate for a loving home.”
The woman who found the abandoned kitten took it to a no-kill shelter where it will soon go to a loving home. The woman who found the kitten left a note in the area in case the child who wrote the note finds it.
This shows the importance of loving animals and the bravery of one child in helping find the cat a new home. Hopefully the cat will find a happier home with a loving family. Now if the brave child who wrote this note could also find a happy home, that would be even better.
