There’s a general belief that music soothes the savage beast. Unfortunately it depends on the music and the beast because not all music is soothing and not all animals like music.
As you can see in this image, one particularly cat does not like flute music and does its best to stop. The flutist also does her best to keep playing but the cat remains persistent in getting her to stop.
