Werewolves aren’t real, but cats that look like werewolves are. Called Lykoi cats (the name is an ancient Greek word for “wolf”), this breed is a natural mutation from domestic shorthairs that started from two separate sibling litters in 2011, according to the International Cat Association breed standard.

Lykoi kitties are “very friendly and demand attention.” In addition, they also have certain dog-like qualities — tail-wagging, scent tracking and playing fetch. Unlike dogs, Lykoi kitties also cost $1,500 to $2,500 so if you want a werewolf kitty, put yourself on a waiting list now.
