A supermarket has a problem. While most supermarkets have problems with unruly customers, Sainsbury’s in Blockley has another problem. A cat keeps coming into the supermarket and laying around the shelves.
Security guards keep trying to shoo the cat out but as soon as they turn their back, the cat comes right back in. Shoppers have posted pictures of the cat on the Internet, and the cat’s owner has said that Olly (the cat’s name) has a loving home that’s near the supermarket.
If you like the idea of spending time in a cat cafe, perhaps you might also like the idea of spending time in a supermarket with a cat in it. It may not be the most sanitary place to find a cat, but as long as the cat keeps coming back in, shoppers will be able to find him lounging around the store shelves.
