Grumpy Cat became an Internet sensation with a perpetually sour scowl on her face. Now a new kitten has been growing in popularity on the Internet by being the anti-Grumpy Cat. Instead of sporting a permanent scowl, Rey, a five-month old kitten in Utah, seems to have a perpetual smile across her face.
Owners Jenni Colborn and her husband Aaron Holborn named her Rey after the “Star Wars” lead character.
“A lot of my friends, family, neighbors and coworkers are just obsessed with Rey and her smile,” Jenni, 27, said. “We like to think she’s the anti-Grumpy Cat, his self-proclaimed arch nemesis.”
