Cat cafes started in Asia and soon spread all over the world. For the longest time, cat cafes didn’t exist anywhere in North America, but in the past few years, they’ve been popping up all over. Now Madison, Wisconsin will soon get their very own cat cafe called Cat Cafe Mad.
“The purpose of our cat café is to provide the public with a chance to experience the love, fun and happiness that comes from owning a cat in a relaxing atmosphere,” the website said.
There will be a $10 cover fee to get into Cat Café Mad, which will include one drink (coffee, tea or soda), according to the website.
