In Thailand, one major tourist attraction has been the Tiger Temple where monks raise and handle fully grown tigers. Now the Tiger Temple may lose its tigers since the government has denied them a permit to operate like a zoo.
With the Tiger Temple unable to raise tigers any more, the tigers will be cared for by the government. Of course the government will need to find a way to feed and care for all these tigers, which they won’t get through tourists money so the fate of the tigers (and the government) remains in doubt.
