A family in Mica, Washington let their cat, Gypsy, outside. Later they heard meowing and discovered that their cat had climbed a tree and was stuck 100 feet in the air.
They tried to entice the cat to climb down but nothing worked. They even called the local fire department but the fire department didn’t have the proper equipment to get the cat down from such a height.
That’s when a local arborist, Johnny Giltner, climbed the tree, put Gypsy in a sack, and brought the cat back down to be reunited with its family once more.
