When Dominic Husson and Louise Veronneau met in Quebec, they dated for three years before deciding to get married. One of their common interests involved their love of animals.
“We are both animal lovers and it was easy,” Husson said. “She is a great person, that is why I married her.”
Instead of a traditional wedding, the couple decided to fly to California and get married at the Cat House, one of the largest no-kill shelters in the world. The 1,100 cats at the shelter attended the wedding as the couple exchanged vows. no word yet on whether the cats brought any wedding presents or not.
