It’s common to hear about cats climbing trees or telephone poles and getting stuck at the top. However, one cat decided to go one step further when firefighters showed up to rescue it.
Instead of passively waiting for the firefighters to climb a ladder and pluck the cat from the top of the telephone pole, this cat decided to walk across the telephone wire like a high wire act in an attempt to get away from its rescuers.
Fortunately its rescuers held a large sheet underneath the cat so when it inevitably lost its balance on the wire, it fell to safety.
