Richard Saunders once saw an ornamental shrub and was struck by how its shape resembled his beloved pet cat while asleep. Now the images he creates replacing real-life bushes with his pet’s feline form have reached millions of people around the globe.
Richard’s cat, Tolly, is unfortunately no longer with him, but Richard keeps Tolly’s memory alive by creating gigantic, perfectly-manicured cats sculpted from lush green bushes.
While these images of gigantic topiary cats are amazing, they are actually faked. These gigantic bushes shaped like cats do not exist except in the creative depictions of Richard’s photographic wizardry, but the images he creates are still fascinating nevertheless.
