Feral cats generally keep to themselves and rarely interact with humans. Curiously, one feral cat wandered into the Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary and quickly made friends with a 550-pound bear named Sequoia.
Zookeepers even nicknamed the cat “Little Bear,” because of its friendship with the much bigger bear.
Zoo officials said, “Often when Sequoia takes a hike through the ‘bear forest’ his cat friend walks with him. She rubs against walls and visitors can hear her raspy purr from quite a distance.”
If you’re having trouble making friends with a cat, perhaps you need to gain weight and look as big as a bear. Either that or you just need to bribe the cat with enough treats and food until it trusts you.
