One reason why cats appeal to so many people is because cats act like humans, but since they’re cute and fuzzy, we let them get away with far more than humans could ever do. In Japan, one cat owner played the movie Monsters, Inc. for a cat and took pictures of the cat’s reaction.
As the scary cartoon monsters appeared on the screen, the cat watching this scene got scared and wide-eyed. When the cartoon monster tried to scare a character in the movie, it wound up scaring the cat watching the movie as well.
