In the wild, cats hunt for their food. That’s why indoor cats can often get bored when their food gets presented to them in a dish that they don’t need to stalk. If your cat starts acting listless or aggressive out of boredom, you might need to get a food puzzle.

A food puzzle lets you put treats in a maze-like device that forces your cat to paw and attack the treat to get it out. This extra activity gives your cat additional stimulation so it can exercise its hunting instincts.

While some cats prefer to hunt, others might prefer if you just spoon feed them caviar and lobster tails every night instead. It all depends on your cat’s attitude towards you and the rest of the human race.
