Marijuana has many medicinal benefits, but what’s more surprising is that many people are giving cats marijuana to deal with the cat’s own health problems. Lisa Mastramico, a Long Beach, California resident, and owner of an arthritic tabby cat, Little Kitty, got the idea of treating her cat with cannabis after attending a meeting for a group of marijuana entrepreneurs, but was initially hesitant.
“My concern was that it’s not my place to get my cat high,” Mastramico said. Surprisingly, the marijuana worked and Little Kitty is now acting more like herself.
Then again if a cat acts normal when high, when does that say about the normal behavior of cats in general?
