Browser the cat has been a fixture at a Texas library but councilman Elzie Clements kept trying to get Browser evicted from the library. Now Elzie Clements has lost his selection bid and no longer has political power to evict Browser.
To insure Browser’s safety, Mayor Ronald White decided to name the beloved feline “Library Cat for Life.” With so many people voting against Elzie Clements, perhaps he should be declares “Loser for Life.” When it comes to politics, it never pays to get on the wrong side of a cat and its followers.
