If you’ve been following the latest soap opera at 10 Downing Street, you may have heard about the ongoing battles between Larry the Cat and Palmerston the Cat. Meanwhile, Gladstone the Cat has mostly kept out of the fray and avoided taking sides.
Now the Cabinet Office plans to introduce two new cats, Evie and Ossie. Both cats will help keep the rodent population down, although we can only hope they can keep human rats out of political office as well.
With Evie and Ossie mixed in with Larry, Gladtone, and Palmerston, perhaps some sort of peace might prevail, or maybe all the cats will get into a violent free for all and battle it out.
