When the Fredericton SPCA found a morbidly obese, 30-pound cat in a box in 2011, they nicknamed him Tiny. Through diet and exercise, Tiny eventually got his weight down to 16 pounds and helped promote awareness of obesity in pets.

In 2014, Tiny was presented on the floor of the Provincial Legislature, the first animal in the history of the Province to have that honor. Sadly, Tiny passed away but his legacy will live on.
