Normally when a cat keeps trying to wake you up in the middle of the night, it’s because the cat is hungry, wants to go out, or just wants to annoy you so you won’t get enough sleep. However, Blanco the cat had another reason to wake its family up.
Blanco’s owner, Anna, first realized something was wrong when Blanco kept waking her up. After she threw the cat out the bedroom door, the cat kept scratching at it. That’s when Anna realized her husband had left the gas stove on and something was burning.
Thanks to Blanco, the family is safe and the house didn’t catch on fire. The next time your cat wakes you up, it could be trying to save your life or just annoying you so you’ll get up and feed it.
