Any cat lover will tell you how many times their cat has shown affection to humans and even other animals. Yet many cat haters insist that cats don’t show affection so therefore that justifies not liking cats. Unfortunately for many cat haters, science has proven otherwise.

Cats and dogs simply display affection differently. Where a dog might rush up to its owner after a long day. cats may seemingly ignore their owner. That doesn’t mean that cats like their owners less but that they express themselves differently.

If you think cats aren’t as affectionate as dogs, it depends on how you measure a display of affection. Most likely cats are affectionate towards people they like. If you don’t like cats, it’s probably because they don’t like you either.
