Syria is a mess. That’s why so many people have fled the country, but one man, named Mohammad Alaa Aljaleel, stayed behind to start a sanctuary to protect and feed the many stray cats roaming around Syria.
Unfortunately, bomb strikes destroyed most of his sanctuary and killed some of the cats while the rest fled. Undaunted, Mohammad has decided to rebuild his sanctuary except instead of just rescuing cats, he’s also rescuing dogs along with several animals still stuck in a zoo including a bear, a monkey, and a tiger.
