Go to England and visit a pub and chances are good you’ll see people eating, drinking, and petting pub dogs and cats that freely wander around the entire area. While health officials in America keep cats and food separate, British pubs let cats and dogs roam around with customers as part of tradition.

In Hollywood, The Cat & the Fiddle was a pub that catered to British ex-pats. After it moved form Sunset boulevard, it reopened in another part of Hollywood. If you’ve been craving fish and chips or bangers and mash, then visit The Cat and the Fiddle.

Hopefully Hollywood health laws will one day allow pubs to let dogs and cats freely roam the area. Until then, you can at least enjoy the cartoon cat mascot as part of the pub’s sign.
