When a Michigan family’s home burned down, firefighters managed to rescue their dog, Chloe, but couldn’t locate their cat, Ringer. Then two months later, the family visited the wreckage of their home and Chloe started pawing at a hole in the wreckage.

That’s when the family heard the meowing of a cat. They got food to lure the cat out and discovered that the cat was none other than Ringer, who had been trapped under the burned out home for the past two months.

Ringer was skinnier but still alive, proving once and for all that cats really do have nine lives.
