Cat cafes took over Asia and have now spread to Europe and North America. Unfortunately, many places in North America still lack a cat cafe. Until recently, North Carolina didn’t have a cat cafe but that’s going to change this summer in Charlotte.
Lori Konawalik has plans for a cat cafe called “Mac Tabby” where guests can mingle with each other and with cats as well. Like most cat cafes, patrons will be able to enjoy a snack and a beverage while playing with cats put up for adoption. Hopefully this newest cat cafe will help make cats get adopted and make cat lovers happier when they can visit a cat in North Carolina.
