If the Labour Party wins the General Election in England, Jeremy Corby may be bringing his cat, El Gato, to 10 Downing Street. Jeremy says that the black and white cat is ‘a bit of a Tory’ because of his ‘disappointing individualism’.
Fortunately, El Gato formed a great friendship with a stray cat so Jeremy believes there are socialist tendencies in Gato’s character. Currently Larry the cat resides over the Cabinet Office, Palmerston the cat rules over the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, while Gladstone the cat guards the Treasury.
With so many cats running the government, perhaps England will be safer than having actual human politicians trying to run everything themselves.
