Nobody wants to lose their cat, but that’s what happened to Luke Hall and his partner when their caravan broke down. Their cat, Whiskers, escaped in the night and despite staying in the area an extra day to search for Whiskers, they regretfully had to go back home.

Three months later, they got a call from a veterinarian. Apparently someone found Whiskers and brought him in to the vet for safety. That’s when the vet scanned whiskers and discovered his microchip, allowing the vet to find Whiskers’ owner.

So the lesson is clear. With a microchip, there’s a good chance a lost cat will turn up again one day. Get your cat microchipped. That way you can increase your odds of finding each other again.
