It’s never fun when a cat goes missing. Even worse is when someone deliberately steals a cat. That’s what happened to Caitlyn Wright when her cat, duchess, turned up at another city.
Police were able to retrieve the cat and bring it to a local veterinarian but then Caitlyn still had to retrieve Duchess herself. Unable to travel to where Duchess was being kept, Caitlyn asked for assistance on Facebook. That’s when people volunteered to help transport Duchess back home where she belongs.
People are kind and willing to help, but don’t let that fool you into thinking you don’t need to take steps ahead of time to make sure your lost cat can be found again. Keep your cat safe and make sure it’s microchipped to insure you can get your cat back again.
