It’s no secret that when you’re trying to use a computer, your cat will step in front of your screen and lay across your keyboard. While nobody has yet found a way to keep cats from getting in the way of your computer, one Japanese cat lover has found a unique way to simulate a solution.

While a recording of the video game Chunith plays on an iPad, this Japanese player pretends to use his sleeping cat as a game controller to play the game. Unfortunately the cat can’t really control the game, but the cat doesn’t care and gets a massage while the human player gets to pretend to play a video game.

For the cat, life couldn’t be better. For the human game player, this is the next best thing to playing a video game while paying attention to your cat instead.
