Some cats have nine lives. Nutmeg used up all of his nine lives to make it to the ripe old age of 32. Unfortunately, Nutmeg recently suffered heart failure and passed away.
Since most cats typically live 15 years, Nutmeg defied the odds and lived almost twice as long. The loss of Nutmeg can never be made up, but hopefully Nutmeg’s owners can remember all the years of owning Nutmeg and perhaps adopt a new cat sometime in the future so another cat has a chance at a good home like Nutmeg had.
