Zion, an indoor cat, escaped while its family was hosting a house party. The feline ended up trapped about 100 feet off the ground on the side of a cliff. Fortunately, Los Angeles has SMART, the city’s Specialized Mobile Animal Rescue Team, which quickly arrived to rescue the cat.
Rescuers repeled down the cliff and plucked Zion to safety. SMART formed in 2004 specifically as an animal search and rescue organization. If you need to save an animal, call SMART in the Los Angeles area and they boast a 100 percent success rate.
