Greensboro, North Carolina opened its first cat cafe and it was booked solid with customers wanting to spend time with cats. Crooked Tail Cat Café accepts walk-ins but only if no one else has mad reservations to spend time in the Kitty Lounge.

Visitors can pay $10 to spend an hour in the Kitty Lounge where cats roam around chairs and sofas, and a a cat walk that wraps the room and in and out of myriad cat perches and toys. Like most cat cafes, you can adopt a cat if you like or simply enjoy the company of the cats for an hour. All cats come from an animal rescue center so this is another way to get cats out in the public’s eye so they can find a new home.
